Prepare the equipment and lane

Inspect edges, straps and foot pockets. Confirm how the venue wants fins carried, fitted and removed.

Build the session in layers

Begin with body position, then short propulsion and only later continuous repeats.

  • Keep clear space from other swimmers.
  • Stop for numbness or rubbing.
  • Record one cue for the next session.
